Demonstration portfolio

Five worked examples for one fictional issuer.

Northstar Copper Corp and its Aurora Ridge property are invented. Each demonstration below is built from sample data to show the shape of a deliverable and lets you try the part that matters: filtering an archive, switching map layers, searching a document index, or stepping through an approval. None of them is a live service, and none is client work.

Demonstration 01 · Websites

Issuer site and news archive

A news archive is where most issuer sites drift: inconsistent titles, missing categories, links to drafts instead of filed versions. This archive gives every release a category and one title style, so visitors can find what they need.

What it shows

  • One title format and a category on every release
  • Releases and technical reports linked from the project page
  • A site address that belongs to the issuer, not to Mindev

Lives on your company's own domain

Demonstration 02 · Maps

Layered property map

One property, five layers, each from its own source. Switch layers on and off, jump to a saved view, or pick a drill hole from the table to find it on the map.

Demonstration property map of Aurora Ridge, fictional data Plan view on a dark green ground. Six square claims in a three by two block, labelled Aurora 1 to Aurora 6, sit across a hill drawn with contour lines. An oval geophysical anomaly crosses the middle claims. Four completed drill holes and two planned holes lie inside the anomaly. A creek runs down the west side and an access road leads from the south-west to a camp. Every feature is invented. Demonstration 03 · Data rooms

Data-room document index

The index is the part of a data room reviewers use most. This sample one is public text with no files behind it: search it, or narrow it to one folder, to see how a prepared room is organised.

Release approval walkthrough

Follow a fictional drill update from draft to ready-to-publish. At each stage, see who acts, what is checked and what goes on the record. The buttons only move through this example; nothing is approved, sent or published.

  1. Stage 1 of 5 Draft

    Draft prepared

    Who acts
    Company geologist
    What happens
Writes the drill update and attaches figure set v1 and the hole table.
    On the record
Draft v1 created with figures v1.
  2. Stage 2 of 5 Change requested

    Figure and fact check

    Who acts
Mindev, where the scope includes checking
    What happens
Every hole ID, count and label in the text and figures is compared with the approved hole table. One label on the drill plan does not match: AR-04 is marked as AR-03.
    On the record
Check on v1: one mismatch flagged. Figures v2 issued with the label corrected.
  3. Stage 3 of 5 Approved with edits

    Qualified person review

    Who acts
    The company's qualified person
    What happens
Reviews technical content in draft v2 with figures v2 and asks for one wording change.
    On the record
Approved with edits; draft v3 issued.
  4. Stage 4 of 5 Approved

    Disclosure review

    Who acts
    Chief financial officer and counsel
    What happens
Review disclosure wording and timing on draft v3.
    On the record
    Disclosure review complete on v3.
  5. Stage 5 of 5 Ready

    Ready to publish

    Who acts
A company officer decides when to release
    What happens
The site news post, project page facts and deck slide are prepared to match v3, waiting for the company's release.
    On the record
Site, project page and deck staged to v3. Release timing is the company's decision.

Demonstration 05 · Presentations and data

One fact table, three outputs

Every number on the slide, the fact sheet and the website summary comes from one approved table. When a fact changes, all three change together, and anything that disagrees gets flagged.

Aurora Ridge property

  • 6 mineral claims, Aurora 1 to 6
  • 4 holes completed in the current program; 2 planned
  • Technical report filed
  • Next: assays for AR-04

Consistency check

The previous fact sheet said 3 holes completed. The approved table says 4, so this version was updated and the change logged.

What it shows

  • Each fact has a source and an approver
  • Slide, fact sheet and web summary read from the same row
  • A stale number is caught and recorded rather than copied forward

From demonstration to your work

Your version is scoped to your company.

A real engagement starts from your projects, your data and your approvers. Public work goes on your domain; private material goes in a separate access-controlled workspace agreed for the job. Quotes, agreements, billing and conversation stay with Mindev.

Client work appears here only with that client's written permission.
