This page explains what happens to information when you use mindev.ca. The site is operated by 17302878 Canada Inc. It is a static information site: it has no accounts, no client login and no checkout.
The quote brief composer
- What you type into the composer stays in your browser's memory on that page. The site's code does not send it to a server, and does not save it in cookies or local storage.
- When you press "Prepare email draft", the page assembles a message and shows it to you. Opening it hands the text to the email app on your device. Nothing is sent until you press send in that app.
- "Copy brief" places the text on your clipboard. "Download brief.txt" asks your browser to save a text file to your device. After that, the clipboard or file is under your control.
- Your browser or device may offer its own autofill or form-recovery features. Those are outside this site's control.
If you email us
If you send a message to luke@1730.ca, we receive what you put in it: typically your name or company, your email address, your project description and anything else you choose to include. We use it to respond to your enquiry, to prepare a quote if appropriate, and to keep ordinary business records. Your email provider, and any mail services between you and us, also process the message under their own policies, and they may be located outside Canada.
Please do not send confidential or non-public information, credentials, or card or banking details in a first message.
Hosting and technical logs
This site is served through Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, the page requested, browser and device type, time of request and security signals. Cloudflare may keep logs and may set or read technical cookies or similar signals for security and performance, according to how it is configured and its own policies. Its processing can take place in countries other than Canada.
This site adds no analytics, advertising or tracking tools of its own, and its own code sets no cookies.
Payments
This site does not take payments or ask for card details. If we later agree work with you and arrange card billing through Stripe, you would use Stripe's own payment pages, which are covered by Stripe's terms and privacy policy.
Your choices
You can ask what personal information we hold about you from correspondence, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, by writing to luke@1730.ca. Canadian privacy law, such as PIPEDA where it applies, may give you additional rights.
